Snorkeling in a place called Silfra, you can place one hand on the continent of Europe and the other hand on North America.This is some of the clearest water in the world, and pure enough to drink.

The runoff from a glacier spends 40 years filtering through lava rock, before emerging in Thingvellir National Park.

The water temperature is 37 degrees Fahrenheit!
