Former Peoria Police Officer Pat Shearer went to Ukraine initially to fight against the Russian invasion. He found he could be even more helpful as a driver, and developed efficient routes and methods of driving around Ukraine and Poland.

We met him in the border town of Medyka, where aid organizations have setup a camp to welcome refugees into Poland.
